The Case of the Judd Sisters

Updated: Jun 15

The Case of the Judd Sisters

It is very common in trust drafting for one spouse to leave the surviving spouse everything.

This is the case for country singer Wynonna Judd and actress Ashley Judd with the estate of their late mother, singer, Naomi Judd, who passed away in April. In this case, Naomi’s estate was left in its entirety to her husband of 33 years, Larry Strickland.

Wynonna set the rumors straight when it was thought that she was fighting with her sister over the will and says that they have no plans to contest the will.

As it goes, after the passing of Larry Strickland, the remaining contents of the Estate will be split between Wynonna and Ashley.
